Using a professional electrician ensures safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Their expertise prevents potential hazards, saves time, and guarantees proper solutions. They are equipped with the right tools and knowledge, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Trusting an expert minimizes risks and offers peace of mind.
1. Safety: Electricity is inherently dangerous. A professional electrician is trained to handle electricity safely, ensuring both their safety and yours. They understand the risks involved, are equipped with the right tools, and know the precautions to take. Trying to solve electrical problems without adequate knowledge can lead to electrical shocks, fires, or other hazards.
2. Expertise and Quality of Work: Professional electricians undergo extensive training and possess a deep understanding of electrical systems. This allows them to diagnose problems quickly and accurately, ensuring that the root cause is identified and addressed. Their work adheres to industry standards, which means you’ll be getting quality and long-lasting solutions.
3. Cost Savings in the Long Run: While hiring a professional might seem expensive upfront, it can save you money in the long run. DIY or amateur solutions can lead to further complications, necessitating more repairs or even replacements down the line. By addressing the problem correctly the first time, a professional can prevent future costs.
4. Ensures Compliance with Local Codes and Regulations: Electrical work often has strict codes and standards that need to be adhered to. A professional electrician will be aware of local regulations and will ensure that all repairs and installations are compliant. This not only ensures safety but can also be essential if you ever decide to sell your property or need an insurance claim; non-compliant electrical work can lead to denials or devaluation.
Using a professional electrician provides peace of mind, knowing that the electrical components of your home or business are in capable and expert hands.
I am a retired Roswell resident without any ties to Meer so I can honestly say… If you have any electrical issue, you need to call Meer Electric first. They are the best in customer service and resolving your electrical problems..
I made the mistake of calling another well advertised company to solve a intermittent problem on one circuit breaker. They were supposed arrive the next morning, there was no communication and they did not arrive until the afternoon. After 3 hours of fiddling with their volt meters, I was informed that I would have to spend money on a new circuit panel, smoke detectors with battery backups, some kind of permit, lots of GFCI receptacles, an Arc Fault breaker, and their ground surge package. This amounted to $14,454 and they drove away without fixing a thing. I had no ceiling lights on the first floor, porch lights, and my ceiling fans were not functioning. They did Zero. I found screws on my hardwood floors from the ceiling fan and the wall plates. No cleanup. Not knowing how this was going to be fixed without spending a lot of money was very stressful for me. Why did they try to up-sell me and not fix the problem? Commission?
My next call was to Meer, and I was reassured by project manager Ryan that someone would be there first thing the next morning to help me. He wasn’t kidding. They communicated when they would arrive and they were on time. They listened to my explanation of how the circuit tracked, and did an immediate evaluation on the panel, which was fine. They took the time to trace back through the circuit until they found the problem. A ceiling fan at the end of the circuit had scorched wiring in the box, and the fan motor only hummed. The circuit was terminated for future fan replacement and the wall switch was taped off. There was another wiring issue identified in the living room ceiling fan that was changed. Everything was put back as it was, and I felt so much better knowing there wasn’t an electrical issue to worry about.
Sahand and Luis were very thorough and professional. I actually enjoyed talking with them and seeing them resolve my problem. They even vacuumed the floors around where they worked. It was such a relief to me to know the problem was understood, repaired and resolved, without spending a ton of money. The final cost was under $500, a far cry from what I was quoted from the first company. I will always call Meer first when there is electrical project or problem. They are honest
Great guys who were very knowledgeable and quite efficient. Very reliable. You’re everything all rolled up into one!
Hired Meer Electric to install three ceiling fans in our upstairs bedrooms. Richard and Zack came on time, were polite and courteous throughout the whole process, and finished the job within a reasonable amount of time. They cleaned up after themselves before leaving, and even took the time to give advice and to answer some questions my wife had about possible future work/updating. Out of the three quotes I requested for the job, they were the most reasonable as well.
James at Meer was excellent! He was on time completed the repair timely and neatly and educated us about our circuit panel. I would definitely recommend Meer Electric.
